Felt Coasters

January 3, 2011

My sister left for college yesterday (sad, very sad) so I made her some coasters for her new apartment. She’s really into fall and wildlife, hence the theme.

The coasters were super easy to make and, best of all, they work!

What you need:

scraps of felt in various colors

sheet of thin cork or cork coasters

3″ – 4″ circular cup or vase bottom to trace your circle

white glue (Tacky glue)

foam pad brush

1. trace your circle onto the cork and felt.

2. cut out the circles with your scissors.

3. spread a thin layer of glue onto the cork and adhere to the felt.

4. glue felt shapes to top

5. clean up the edges by trimming all the way around with your scissors.
