Merry Christmas Party

December 19, 2011

Cookie Swap went splendidly.

For the decor, we hung red glitter snowflakes from the chandelier and sliding glass door. The table was super easy – my co-hostess staked boxes and hot plates underneath the table cloth to give the table some depth. Then we stuck a few Christmas ornaments around the table.

To display the cookies, we took some mirrors with fancy frames and placed our cookies on top. The effect was awesome.

There was such an amazing variety of cookies from Nutella cookies to orange sugar cookies (using orange candies chopped up – my favorite of the night!)

One of our guests went so far as to make the Pillsbury Dough Million Dollar winner – cookies made in muffin tins, baked and dipped in chocolate/chocolate & nuts. Then she served ice cream inside – so good!

My friend Amy also had a spectacular Christmas party: Mad Men themed. Check out her party recap.

Merry Christmas!
